The book Fairytales: The First Seven by Uroš Petrović was declared the best book in the field of children's literature at the Novi Sad Book Fair! All three sequels have become regional bestsellers so far.

Mina Kebin: “In the previous books, you put a quote by a great thinker at the top of the back cover like Albert Einstein, Hans Christian Andersen, and so on. What made you think it’s appropriate to put one of your own thoughts this time?”

Uroš Petrović: “When I was little, they would read me so many fairy tales that I ended up with a pretty inflated sense of self-belief!”

Mina Kebin: “I can see that. They might have overdone it a little…”

Uroš Petrović: “I beg your pardon?”

Mina Kebin: “Never mind. Anyway, for the bottom half of the back cover, we’re not going to use the same text as last time, are we?”

Uroš Petrović: “Of course we are. Nobody reads that bit anyway!”

Fairy tales do more than entertain—they help sharpen focus and memory, spark imagination and critical thinking, nurture emotional intelligence, and boost language skills.
